Troubleshooting: iCloud calendar

Have you changed your Apple ID password? Changing the password that goes with your Apple ID will revoke Acuity’s ability to access your iCloud calendar. To reconnect the sync, go to Business Settings > Sync with Other Calendars, and click on the iCloud tab at the top. Click the Reconnect to iCloud button and follow the instructions. Note: You may have to generate a new app-specific password following Apple’s procedures.

Did you just set up your sync? There may be an initial delay when you first set up the sync. Thereafter, events from Acuity should reach iCloud nearly instantaneously and events from iCloud should reach Acuity within 6 or 7 minutes, though iCloud server issues can sometimes delay the process further.

Are the correct calendars synced? Go to Business Settings > Sync with Other Calendarsand click on the iCloud tab. Check that the sync is set up for the Acuity calendar you want, and verify that the correct iCloud calendar or calendars are involved in the sync.

Is your event very far in the future? The sync will handle events up to 200 days in the future. Events farther out than that won’t sync until they’re within the 200-day window.

Are you viewing the correct iCloud calendar? It’s possible to have several iCloud calendars that are accessible from one iCloud account. If the iCloud calendar you’re syncing with isn’t being displayed, you won’t see the synced events. Check that the iCloud calendar you’re looking at is the one you intend to sync. If you’re viewing iCloud calendars through the iCloud calendar website, this setting is controlled in the left rail.

Troubleshooting: Google calendar

Has your Google password changed? Changing your Google password revokes Acuity’s access to your Google account. You can reconnect the sync by going to Business Settings > Sync with Other Calendars and clicking on the Google Calendar tab.

Did you just set up the sync? After a sync is first created, it can take up to 20 minutes for events to transfer between Acuity and Google. After that initial delay, events should sync near-instantaneously.

Are the correct calendars synced? Go to Business Settings > Sync with Other Calendarsand click on the Google Calendar tab. Check that the sync is set up for the Acuity calendar you want, and verify the Google calendar or calendars involved in the sync.

Are you viewing the correct Google calendar? It’s possible to have several Google calendars that are accessible from one Google account. If the Google calendar you’re syncing with isn’t being displayed in Google, you won’t see the synced events. If you’re viewing through the Google Calendar website, this setting is controlled in the My Calendars section.
