Client Scheduling Limits
Can I limit the number of classes I teach per day, week, etc.?
Yes. These are called your Client Scheduling Limits. Scheduling limits are settings that control when clients can book or edit appointments. Scheduling limits control:
How far in advance clients can book lessons.
How far before a booked appointment clients can reschedule a lesson.
How often appointments will be offered on your scheduling page.
Change your Client Scheduling Limits
Open the Acuity Schedule Admin app.
In the left column, click “Availability.”
Select “Client Scheduling Limits.”
Do Not Allow Clients to Schedule Fewer Than:
This setting allows you to set the lead time for students to book lessons with you.
Do Not Allow Clients to Cancel or Reschedule Appointments Less Than:
This setting allows you to set the lead time for students to reschedule lessons with you. You may choose 24 hours or less.
NOTE: The default rescheduling policy made known to students is 24 hours.
Appointments Per Time Slot:
This controls double booking.
Note: To avoid double booking, this setting should always be set to: 1 appointment(s).
Maximum Appointments:
This controls how many lessons total can be booked into your calendar. You can limit appointments by number per day or week or by hours per day.
Examples:
If you want to limit yourself to 2 lessons per day, you’d select ☑ Max number per day of… (2).
If you want to limit yourself to 10 lessons per week, you’d select ☑ Max number per week of… (10).
If you want to limit yourself to 2 lessons per day AND 10 lessons per week, you’d select both options.
